International Seminary - DFW Satellite Class

Kingdom Workers Training Program

Do you believe you have a call on your life but don't quite understand the call? Do you have a desire to become an effective worker in ministry? Are you searching for clarity of purpose and simplicity of understanding in God's plan for your life? Do you appreciate God's Word so much that you yearn for a greater understanding? If you answered "yes" to just one of these questions then this could be the season God is calling you to enroll in a ministry training course that is convenient, practical and affordable.

International Seminary-DFW Class is a satellite class from the main campus International Seminary an accredited bible college based in Plymouth, Florida. We offer a ministry training diploma program entitled “Be Successful In Your Ministry.” Graduates come from more than 63 faith groups, and are ministering in 77 countries around the world.

“Be Successful In Your Ministry” provides powerful tools in establishing a sound theological foundation for ministers and lay leadership. Our goal is to help students to define and refine their spiritual gifts and return to their local church equipped and ready to do ministry and advance God’s kingdom.

Our Mission Statement

To empower, instruct, prepare, and promote leadership accountability.

  • To empower students to develop a disciplined life of studying and applying God's Word;
  • To instruct in how to rightly divide truth from error and become sound in Biblical doctrine;
  • To prepare for Kingdom ministry in local church and community; and
  • To promote effective leadership through refined and defined purpose.

Our Motto

It is our commitment to work along side every student who desires to “finish the race” even if they are the last one holding the baton

What types of diplomas do you offer for ministry training?

Students completing the first year course receive a Diploma of Practical Theology. Second year students receive a Diploma of Practical Theology - Advanced Level. Third year students receive a Graduate of Theology Diploma. All diplomas are issued from the Main Campus of International Seminary in Florida. Students also have the opportunity to pursue AA, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees through International Seminary. Licensing and ordination are also available to those who qualify.

Do you have a Graduation Ceremony?

Yes. Our Satellite Class holds a commencement ceremony in December and January. Students can also attend the commencement ceremony held at the main campus in Florida in June for any program, any year.

What makes your Satellite Class so unique from other satellite classes?

Students benefit in two ways:

  • First from Professor Butler, with her long-standing experience as a co-pastor and administrator in legal, corporate and church industries. She provides students with theological instruction and administrative techniques, including organization and writing skills. The latter is especially important for the student who has been out of school for years.
  • Second from Instructor Bishop Elect Butler, with his long-standing experience as a senior pastor, mentor and spiritual leader. He provides students with instruction from a pastoral and spiritual perspective providing leadership, accountability and mentorship opportunities.

Why should I choose to attend your ministry training program?

Students receive a quality ministry education at an affordable price.

  • You are not bogged down with a lot of academics which do not apply to the ministry
  • The ministry training program is relevant. What you learn today, you can put into practice the next Sunday.
  • Small class size affords students the benefit of receiving one-on-one help including writing techniques.
  • Classes meet once a week for students' convenience.
  • All classes are based upon Biblical principles of success.

Can I check out your classes before paying any fees or registering?

Yes. We allow students to visit our class up to three times with no charge and obligation. In fact, we actually encourage our enrolled students to bring students with them to class.

Do you have any scholarships?

At this time, our scholarship fund is depleted. However, the Tuition Payment Plan is structured such that it is convenient to anyone’s budget. A 20% discount is offered on most programs for paying in full. There is also a 50% spouse discount when both the husband and wife enroll together. Overall, you will find that the cost is much less than what state universities charge, and only a fraction of what private colleges charge. Please contact Professor Butler for a copy of the current “Tuition Payment Plan.”

Does the tuition include the cost of books?

No. The tuition listed for each training program covers only the tuition cost; however, the training programs have been designed in such a way as to minimize the high cost of books. The first three years of the undergraduate program are completed primarily with lecture material that is included in the tuition cost. There are some outside reading requirements, but the total book cost for any of those ministry training programs is usually under $100 for the year. Students are provided with a suggested list of books to choose from that are relevant to ministry today. Many of our students use local libraries (public and private) and are able to complete their studies without buying any books at all. Others are striving to develop their own personal libraries and will spend more on books, resources and bible software programs than they do on tuition.I'm a paragraph.
